As its name implies, the Smart feather incorporates the Apple Smart Cover and is Incipio’s best-selling, lightweight, hard shell feather case for the iPad 2.The Smart feather has already been featured on many well known sites such as Blogosphere, Twitter, and Facebook since Incipio announced its plans to release the case last month.
However, iPad 2 users have been facing two major issues when using the Smart Cover and that is, scratching and accidental detachment. So to solve these problems, Incipio has custom-molded its feather case to fit the contours of the iPad 2 and accommodate the “spine” of the Smart Cover to protect the back from scratches while securing the Smart Cover in place.
