On a smartphone market that Google and Apple are both the operating
system domain aims, seems a bit odd that Apple's iPhone is still based
on Google's search and mapping services. Well, despite the rivalry
between Android and the SOI, both companies are really being loyal
partners in certain business fields.
That's what became clear
yesterday after Eric Schmidt, Google's former CEO and current CEO,
announced that the search giant has decided to resume Internet services
for the iPhone. Judging by the words of Mr. Schmidt, it was also clear
that Google has no intention of breaking its partnership with Apple in
the short term. That does not necessarily mean that Apple has abandoned
the idea of having their own mapping service in the future, but now it
seems that there are more important on the agenda of the company.
