Nikon S4100 and S6100 still available says Nikon US

Nikon USA Coolpix has announced that its S4100 and S6100 models remain available for American customers. This follows a statement by Japan's Nikon recently introduced the S4100 was removed as a result of component shortages after the earthquake and tsunami in Japan.
The recall affects only certain markets, says Nikon USA, and confirmed the two models are still available in The Americas. " We have not heard about the European availability.

Nikon USA's statement:
“The Nikon COOLPIX S4100 and S6100 cameras are available in the Americas.  As recently reported by Nikon Corporation, sales of these products are being discontinued in some markets however availability of these products in the Americas will not be impacted.”
