RIM BlackBerry 935 points played for undisclosed reasons

Let's start by saying that 935 defective units for a product launch is no big deal. But at a time when RIM desperately needs some good press, "935" begins to sound a little more dramatic.


Staples issued a warning to its stores, informing them that 935 BlackBerry units were flawed playbook. But some of these units may still be on the sales floor, rather than a new customer. We imagine that other retailers are doing the same serial number, are quick to make sure that does not sell a defective unit.

As for the real cause of the withdrawal, have not provided any information. Some users have reported typical problems like dead pixels and overheating, but we have not heard of catastrophic failure. So RIM has to go through them.
